Hi, I'm a birth mother looking for two children. One, David Paul (with the surname of Mackintosh on the birth register) and Simone (with the same surname on the birth register). Both of you were born in the same hospital, St James, St James Road, in Balham, London. David was born on 27 April 1965 and Simone was born on 19 July 1966. As I live in New Zealand it is very hard to do much searching from here and I can't seem to be able to access adoption records as it is against British Law I believe. Would anyone reading this be able to help me. At the time think were adopted through The National Adoption Society which I think is now closed down. Any information about the National Adoptaion Agency would very appreciated as well. Would anyone out there know of any other way I can find out if they are still in Britain or even if they are still alive and well. Please email me if you can shed any light on the situation.
