I was born On October 9, 1965 at the Catholic Children's Rescue in Moor Road, Leeds. I believe I was with my birth mother until I was around three months old before being adopted by a couple from Sheffield. My birth mother's name is/was Myra Cumnmins. The address given on my birth cert was a former hotel in Harrogate where I think she may have been working as a waitress while she was pregnant. I believe, given her name, that she was Irish. I was given the name Philomena Mary. Anyone with any information please contact me - it's long overdue.
