I am looking for information about my GOODWIN family from New Church
Radnorshire,Wales UK. Edward Goodwin born 1826,married Margaret Craig
Daugther of William and Annie Craig.Also James Goodwin born 1824??
married Jane Craig.James and Edward went to NSW Australia aboard the
Bussorah Merchant,which sailed from Plymouth 13th Nov 1852 and arrived
Sydney,Australia 19th March 1853.Two other brothers went to Ohio,U.S.A
in 1850.There names John Goodwin,Thomas Goodwin.They are the children
of Edward and Elizabeth Goodwin.At this moment I want to know were Edward
and Elizabeth Goodwin came from..???.And they have family in Ireland..??.
In 1859 Edward & Margaret,James & Jane Goodwin came to New Zealand and farmed
at Pigeon Bay,Banks Peninsula,NZ.The two old houses the still stand to day.
and some family still live in that area.They had a big farm there.James later
sold to his brother Edward and came to Taranaki,North Island and farmed.And alot
of his family live around Taranaki today.I do need more information about their
father and mother Edward & Elizabeth Goodwin.
