BIRKETT - BIRKETT - BIRKETT
I have traced my father's family back almost 150 years to my great great grandfather, WILLIAM BIRKETT who was born in Out Rawcliffe, near Garstang, Lancashire, in 1853 before moving south to Haydock, near St. Helens, Lancashire, some time before the 1881 census by which time he had married wife Ellen (a native of Haydock) and had a four year old son, George - my grandfather.
Any help with taking the line further back would be greatly appreciated.
