Looking for parents or relatives of William and James Mitchell. William is our GGGrandfather. He was born ca 1800,(only a guess)born at Uper Lumb, Erringden, Yorkshire, England. He married Harriet Crossley on Dec. 31, 1826 at Of Rough Head, Erringden, Yorkshire. They had 7 children, Anthony Crossley, Thomas, John, Sarah, William, Henry, & Elizabeth, she was born 1841 and all are listed in the 1841 British Census. At least part of this family came to the USA sometime between 1841 and 1851, as Thomas (GGrandfather) married Rosan Ingraham on March 20, 1851 in Clay County Illinois. Any help would be appreciated.
