ARE YOU MY JONES RELATIVES IN THE UK???
I'm looking for possible relatives in England who would be
descended from George Jones and Lavinia Baumeister--I think
were their names. I think some (but not all?) of their children
were George, Edgar, Connie, Mabel, Edie, Madeline, Adela,
Grace, Lil (or Lavinia). Greatgrandma Lavinia moved to
France in about 1908 with the three? youngest girls who
married and moved to the US (last lived in Olympia,WA).
I also found old pictures of an "Aunt Bess, Cousin Paul and
his son George", but don't know if their last name was also
Jones or not--but if this rings a bell to anyone??? I think
greatgrandpa George was a cobbler and may have lived somewhere
in Essex, or London or??? I think Lavinia moved near Nice
or the French Riviera. One of the other siblings was
supposed to have moved to the US and then moved back to
England, but I don't have a name. Thanks
