My father was William Wardle born Stalybridge in 1908.
His father was Aaron Wardle probably born in Stalybridge in 1873.
His mother was Mary Jane Severn born in Tipton, Staffordshire on 03/02/1875.
Her father was Thomas Severn who lived at Gospel Oak Road, Tipton and was a Shingler and then a Manager of an Ironworks.
Her mother was Sabina Severn (formerly Meakin.
And there I come to a halt. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
