Trying to find any info/history about my great grandfather -
William WHILES born c. 1850 - Leicester, England - Emigrated to Canad (when?). In 1882 in Toronto, Ont. at age 30 and a widow, he married Alice COLLINSON - age 18. they had a daughter born March 1883 and in Nov. 1883 -William Whiles died from a work related accident. Would greatly appreciate help in obtaining facts/data on his family. On marriage (Ont.) registry it reads that his parents were John Whiles & Elsa/Elvira ?(unknow maiden name). Help please, I have been searching for 10 yrs now!
