Trying to find my William WHILES.(great paternal grandfather) born about 1850 -Leicester England. Parents -
John Whiles and ? Elsa/Elvira (not very clear on marriage registry for William Whiles in Ontario. William Whiles was
age 30 a "widow" when he married in 1882 to Alice COLLINSON
in Toronto, Ont. A daughter was born to them in March 1883, in Nov. 1883 William Whiles died from a work related accident. Desparately seeking ANY inforamation and willing to exchange data. I am up against a brick wall.
the UK 1881 Cenusus lists a William Whiles at 16Garden St. Leicester St. margaret, Leicester, england with wife-Rachel
and children ages 7, 6, 4, 2 and 2 mos. If this is MY - William WHILES, what happened to this family? He would have
had to sail for Canada shortly thereafter. Lots of Questions. Hope someone out there can help me.
