Hello from the heartland of the U.S. My husband's direct family lineage goes back the BRUCE, MORRISON, MCQUISTAN, MCALISTER, CAMPBELL and so on. I am having difficulity in finding his BRUCE / MORRISON lineage. His ggg grandfather is a JOHN BRUCE whom married STUART MORRISON. John Bruce was born abt. June 22, 1824 possibly in Montrose, Scotland and possibly his father was CHARLES NICOL BRUCE born 1871 in Perth and died in 1856 in Motrose, Lanyard. Possible mother to John was ELIZABETH WEBSTER b: 1786/87 Montrose and d: 1860, Montrose. Possible Sibiling, all born in Montrose, to John are: Elizabeth, b: 1906; William, b: 1808; Charles, b: 1810, Jean (f), b: 1812; James, b: 1817 and then David,b: 1823. IF anyone knows of this BRUCE / MORRISON marriage or John's sibilings I would love to hear from you. This inforamtion was extracted from scotorgins.com and not sure if I am on the right track or not. i did not find John and Staurt's marriage there. JOHN BRUCE and STUART MORRISON had the following children: James S., b: 1851 in Scotland; John II, b: 1856 in NY or IA.?; Robert b: abt. 1856 in U.S. and then Andrew ( g g grandpa ) b: 1860 Manchester, IA. USA. I am not sure if there were girls born to them.

KKB in Iowa.
