just to let people know that i have managed to trace kathleen harkness nee watson. we met for the first time on august 18th 2001. kathleen was overjoyed as she had not seen her family for 39years. i would just urge anyone who is searching for people to follow up every lead and not to allow professionals such as social workers to sabotage your search , especially by saying that adoption records do not exist, when this is a very common reason given when social services have something to hide. Secondly they have no understanding of the brother/sister/parent bond. lastly do not give up. i have been searching for 8 years, my aunts and uncles had been searching for over thirty years, but we have got there in the end.
