l'm looking for info on my gggrandfather,Godfrey Macdonald born 1798,he married Elizabeth Montgomery born 1804.They had 5 boy's and 1 girl.
Murdoch b about 1828 married Elizabeth Macleod on 28th may 1850.
John born 1/1/1830
My ggrandfather Norman Murdoch Hume born 25/12/1830 died 8/5/1902 married Johan Mackenzie Munro 8/1/1852 Johan was born 8/10/ 1834 died 11/7/ 1883. Both are buried at the Footscray cemetery in Victoria Australia.

James William Macleod ,born ? died in Edinburgh early 40's and was a shoemaker.
My ggrandparents left Scotland on 1/8/1854 on the Hornet and arrived in October 1854
Can anyone help,l seem to keep hitting a brick wall.
My ggrandfather was born on Scalpay (lsle of Skye).
Any help would be great.
