I am looking for information regarding Donald and Mary Matheson. I believe they grew up in the same village on the Isle of Skye before they married in 1854 in Geelong, Australia.
Donald's parents are John Matheson and Euphemia (maiden name unknown). Mary's parents were Alexander Cameron and Flora McDonald. She was born in 1833 and died in 1905. Donald was
born in 1832 and died in 1910. My information tells me that they had 6 children and possibly one stillborn boy. Their youngest son, Ewan, was born in Skipton, Australia and
married Elizabeth East. Together they had 8 children. On of whom is my grandfather, Norman "Lance" Matheson. Any information relating to these people would be greatly appreciated
as we have not been able to find much about our side of the family.
