I am trying to find relatives of my grandfather, Robert Wright Davie who was born in Paisley, Scotand UK in 1844 to Hugh Davie and Elisabeth Davie. I have been told he was a blacksmith. He imigrated to the United States and lived in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, Hornel, New York, and then to Norfolk, Va. where he died Oct. 9, 1921. His first wife was Elisabeth Smith of Glasgow, who died. He then went back to Scotland and married Elisabeth's sister and my grandmother, Isabella Smith from Glasgow. Robert and Isabella had five sons, James, Robert, Charles, Harry and my father, George. This is all the information I have on Robert or Isabella. I am hoping someone will see this and let me know of any relatives I might have that I don't know about.
