Seeking any information on my great, great grandmother MARGRET BEATON (born 1822-28 and died early in 1844 shortly after the November 1843 birth of her only child Hugh McGilvra. Her husband was Donald McGilvra (1805-1905)from Mull. Donald and Hugh McGilvra emigrated to Canada in 1852. It is not known for sure whether Margret was from Mull or Glasgow. Both cities are mentioned in research to date.
