ALEXANDER. Looking for information on William Alexander. Came to the US probably 1837-38. Settled in Elk River,Clinton County,Iowa in 1839. Married Maria Hall in 1847. Died in 1850. He probably came from Edinburgh, Scotland. He or his father may have been Grocers.
Any help/information would be appreciated.
