I am looking for descendants of my mother's family who lived on the Old Kent Road, London. Mother's name: Rose Kathleen Blackwell. Siblings: Joseph, Ted, Frank, Leonard, and Violet, that I know about. My mother was born on April 3, 1901 and emigrated to Canada around 1921. She died on August 22/75l.
Also looking for descendants of my father, Harry Brooke, born on April 15, 1894 and raised in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Siblings: Edgar Gladstone Brooke (Piano Teacher and Pianist), last known address:49 Kaye Lane, Almondbury, and Cissie, Louise, that I know about. They are all deceased.
Also looking for descendants of my maternal grandfather,
first name unknown - last name Blackwell, an Irish sailor
whose last known whereabouts was early 1900's living on the Old Kent Road, London. My maternal grandmother's name and birthday are unknown, but she died in Canada around 1944 or 1945.
Please help if you can, as I never met any of my grandparents, and very little is known about their lives, other than poverty. As a child, my mother was placed in the Workhouse on 2 or 3 occasions while her mother was birthing. Grandfather took off one year, possibly 1910 or sooner & never returned. It's possible he went down with a ship. Nobody knows.
