Have been researching SIMPSON lineage for many years now and gone back to
mid 1800's, as follows:
George SIMPSON b. abt 1846 Edinburgh m. Janet (Jessie) TAYLOR (b. abt 1848
Sconnie)
had 9 children: Jessie (abt 1869), William (abt 1871), Helen (abt 1873),
Margaret (abt 1879), Johan (abt 1881), Geaorgina (abt 1885), David (abt
1886), Sarah (abt 1889)
and
Thomas Taylor SIMPSON b. 28/7/1876 East Wemys, Fife m. Jessie Spittal
STORRAR (addoptive name BARNES) (b. 9/8/1880 Markinch) 9/11/1900 Markinch,
Fife
had 5 children: Jessie (b.1900 d.1937), Christina Barnes (b.1908 d.1987),
Thomas Taylor (b.1911 d.1988), Davina Barnes (b.1919)
and
George Joseph SIMPSON b. 10/4/1904 Markinch m. Ada Armstrong YULE (b.
21/5/1907 Dundee) 17/5/1929 Kirkcaldy had one child:
