Would anyone have any information about Jack Maretti think born in italy (died 1961-1962) been told a big write up in the Llanelli star/Burryport newspaper on his death,he was still living in Burryport S Wales in 1950, He had saved a lot of people from drowning in Burryport he recieved a royal award for this, He made & sold icecreams on the docks he had also worked in the tinworks he had married twice he had two children who were adopted but not legally Doreen dob app 1918 (died 1960 in Carmarthen)S Wales, Doreen married David John Bassett (Johnnie)had 5 children, David John Bassett's brother Joe Bassett was well known to locals at Burryport Jack Moretti adoptive son Gerald worked at the steelworks Port Talbot and building power station in Burryport Gerald had a good friend named Cecil
