I am researching ANN Davies, born in Machynlleth c1850. Living at Glenmevin, Isygareg on 161 census; Derwenlas, Machynlleth with a 1 year old daughter, Annie on 1871 census. Father John Davies, uncle listed as father - David Davies at her marriage in Sept 1871. Looks like she may have been disowned by her family because her daughter's birth cert says "unknown". Other possible relatives include:1861 census- Mary (mother), John and David(sons), Catherine, MArgaret,(sisters), Elinor Lloyd (aunt)(all living at Glenmevin) and David, Elinor, David, Elizabeth, Catherine,Sarah,William, Margaret, Margaret,Mary, DAVIES and David Thomas (all living at Derwenlas): 1871 census - Margaret Davies, margaret Davies, Mary Davies (all living at Derwenlas). ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I would particularly welcome any links with other people researching DAVIES in this area who could help fill in the jigsaw some more. Diolch yn fawr.
