Hello! I am looking for relatives of John P. Rogers. He was the son of John Rogers and Margaret Cunningham (Rogers). John P. Rogers was my Grandfather.
John P. Rogers was born on July 19, 1889 in Downpatrick. Passed away August of 1975 in Vestal, New York, USA. His brother, Ambrose Rogers may have lived in Downpatrick for many years. Ambrose had a son Wilfred.
John Rogers emigrated to USA in 1913 or sometime around that year. Married Bridgett (Della) McCarthy on July 11,1917 in USA. Lived in New York City, Long Island and then Vestal, NY. They had two children: John A. Rogers and Mary M Rogers (married name is Fanning). I am Mary's son Dave Fanning.
I will be in Downpatrick in late May of 2002. Interested in my heritage and family.
