Looking for info on ggrandfather MICHAEL CALLAGHAN/CALLAHAN, b. 1878 in Catleisland, County Kerry, Ireland.
Married KATHARINA BARTON, from ?, County ?, Ireland on June 21, 1905 in Chicago, Il, US.
Emigrated to US 1890-1900 ?
Michael and Katharina had one daughter, Margaret Mary Callahan, b. May 16, 1906 in Chicago.
Michael was a Chicago police officer and was killed in the line of duty on January 4, 1908.
Would like any information on the Callaghans and especialy where to write in Ireland for a copy of a birth certificate.
