Searching for decendants of Honorable John Proctor Lake (estimated to be born around 1755 or as late as 1775). Documentation shows he was a plantation owner on the island of Anguilla, British West Indies in 1827. We are not sure how or why he came to be on the island. Could have possibly been there with transportion ships from England or possibly Ireland.
