Is anyone descended from the KEHELY/BOLGER surnames?
Timothy Kehely was aged 24 and Mary Bolger aged 25 when they
arrived per 'Ganges' in Fremantle Western Australia as bonded
servants in 1841. They maried in 1842 in Perth later moving
to South Australia. Mary was the daughter of Edward Bolger, a
farmer, possibly from Co Carlow.
In 1863 Timothy enrolled as a Military Settler in Dunedin
New Zealand and stated he was born Parish of Ballymony, Co
Cork.
From all available info in Australia and NZ I cannot find out
any further details of Timothy KEHELY.
Would love to find out more info about his life in Ireland.
