Four families came from Ireland came up the Mississippi River to Ohio/Kentucky around 1853..names: James, b. 1816, & Mary (Purcell) Brown, b. 1824; brother Lawrence, b. 11-10-1812, and Mary (?) Brown with 2 children, James, b. 1842, $ William, b. 1851; Purcells (relatives of Mary P Brown); and O'Toole family (also somehow a relative). James and Lawrence were from Wexford county. The family story is that they came with a large group from their parish. Anybody know of them?
