McAULEY Daniel;
Hi! I am researching Daniel McAuley, born in Larne, Antrim, around 1806. Son of George McAuley and Mary (McDonald). Mother Mary believed to have brother Randle/Randell/Ronald McDonald who went to live in New Brunswick, and sister Margaret who married Robert or Andrew Law in Antrim. Details on these also sought.
Daniel married Ellen/Eleanor Irvine/Irvin/Irwin--possibly in Larne, possibly in Canada, probably around 1830.
Daniel went to New Brunswick: date, port of entry unknown. Resided in Rexton/Kingston, New Brunswick, from around 1832-1862.
Many children born there, including George, Mary, Margaret, Sarah, Eleanor (who married Michael Fitzpatrick in 1855) James, Anne. Daniel was a boat builder by principal occ.
Daniel, Eleano, and some family sailed to New Zealand in 1862 in their brig "Our Hope"
