I am trying to trace my Ryan family back to their place of Origin in Ireland. My Grandfather was John Ryan he Married Jessie Seery in Stockton England. John Was borb in Darlington about 1881. His father was also called John Ryan his Mother was Catherine Ryan formerly Hall born in Ireland. John also born in Ireland. On John and Catherines Wedding certificate John's Father's name is given as Patrick deceased. One of the witnesses at their wedding was a Michael Ryan. In the 1881 census it gives his place of birth as Machester Lancashire.From the census I have worked out his date of birth to be 1853. Micheal Ryan married
