loking for help finding person with surname THOMAS who served as batman/butler to Field marshall Slim through WWII. After the war Field marshall Slim became Govenor General in australia and the person i'm seking called (don't have his first name yet) THOMAS went with him. This person was the brother of my grandad James Alex lyon thomas and was born 1890 -1905ish in edinburgh. any info would help
