Searched everywhere, but have not found results. Trying to find anyone who may also be decended from my great-grandparents. Thomas Henry Jones was born around 1847 in Bury Lancashire. He married Emma Orton, born around 1850, from Sheffield. According to the 1881 census they lived in the Sheffield area at
Cross Smithfield. Known children at the time were Henery, Eliza, Emma and Frank. My grand-dad,Stephen Maurice Freeman Jones was born in April 1884 at the same address.
My only living aunt, who is nearly 80, remembers visiting Sheffield as a child and meeting some of her relatives. She also believes her dad's sister, known as Lizzie, lived in the Manchester area in the middle to late 1920's.
Hopefully, someone out there is connected to this line, and can accept me as a long lost, and long distant, relative!
