I am looking for ANY information on these people or information on the surname listed below.
CANYSHEL / CANYSHELL
Robert CANYSHEL had his son, by the same name christened at Drumachose Parish, Londonderry,Ireland on the 17 th of October 1741.
I can not find any records for the CANYSHEL name or the parish records.
My GreatGrandmother is Elizabeth CANYSHELL b 1812 -1814 in Maryland or Pennsylvania,USA.
( Some parts of Maryland were first owned by Pennsylvania.Then later became Maryland.)
Elizabeth CANYSHELL married Nathan SMITH and lived in Indidan where they had three to four children, all but one died, then they moved to Athens Co.,OH where they lived and had three other children.
ANY information will be deeply appreciated.
