My father William Hay had a sister Agnes who was fostered out at birth 1921 (mother Sarah Hay ms Kiltie died during or shortly after Agnes's birth in Glasgow possibly Bridgeton) I believe when she grew up she went to America and became a matron in some hospital in the mid States, but later in her life came back to Scotland. Possibly the Maybole district of Ayrshire and possibly married a blacksmith.
Would love to trace her if possible. |
