I am looking for my mother Bessie Beards d.o.b 16/01/1934 also known as Betty. She gave birth to meon 17/09/1953
at a Catholic Mother and Baby Home in Raddleburn Road Birmingham. She stated that my fathers name was Michael McGann but on other documents states that his name was Thomas Mahon. I was baptized as Elizabeth Mary Beard. Betty came from a big family having at least seven other siblings. I beleive that she lodged with her sister Rose in Birchfield Road Birmingham prior to my birth. Betty's parents were James Arthur Beards and Lily Beards (nee Brown). If anyone has any information on my mother who would now be aged 68 years I would very much appreciate it.
