| My grandfather John DAVIES was born in Clynnog, Caernarvonshire, North Wales. I believe he was one of at least nine children. He came to Australia and settled in Sydney. So did his brother David. I am trying to find out what happened to their brothers and sisters. Their names are Margaret, Owen, Ann, William, Mary, Ellen and Catherine. They lived in a house called Cwmgwared Cottage (Woodmans cottage). Their father John was married to Ann. She died in 1870 and John's second wife was Mary. |
