Hello,
I am trying to find out anything about a woman named Emily Climpson, mother of George Frederick Owen Climpson; he was born in 1889 at Queen Charlotte's Hospital in West London, England. He was sent to Barnardo's in 1890 at the age of one year. Emily had three brothers--Joseph, James (coincidentally my husband's name) and William. She had a married sister named Mary Hatchett. I don't know why Emily's siblings did not help her raise George; she had to give him to Barnardo's because she was literally starving to death. What a sacrifice for her to make for her child!!! George's father was named Shelly, but we do not know if that was his first or last name. He took off on her when he found out that she was pregnant. Anyway, I am wondering if we could find out what happened to Emily and her siblings and if we can go any further back or if we are at a dead end.
