| I'm trying to trace my mother.......she was born JESSIE EDWINA LAKER in the 1st 1/2 of 1914....lived in Edmonton,London.Fathers name Albert Laker, mothers maiden name Peachey....married my father ALFRED WILLIAM MURRELL March 1937,they had 4 children 3 boys 1 girl, Jessie left the family home March 2nd 1948 with 'family friend' TOMMY I have no surname for him, I have been told they went to Doncaster...While my parents were married they lived in EDINBURGH RD, EDMONTON,her father lived in the same street, she had 2 1/2 sisters from her fathers 1st marriage, Bertha & Florence, Florence lived in Edmonton, I think in Raynham Rd or close to it, Bertha worked in NAAFI in Cornwall or Devon where she died in the 50's. |
