| I am trying to trace my mother....she was born JESSIE EDWINA LAKER in 1st 1/2 of 1914, fathers name ALBERT LAKER,mothers maiden name PEACHEY,lived in Edmonton,London,married my father ALFRED WILLIAM MURRELL March 1937,had 4 children 3 boys 1 girl,left the family home in EDINBURGH RD,EDMONTON, March 2nd 1948 with a 'family friend'named TOMMY, unknown surname,she had 2 1/2 sisters from her fathers 1st marriage, Bertha & Florence, Florence lived in Raynham Rd Edmonton or nearby....Bertha worked for NAAFI in Cornwall or Devon where she died in the 50's.ther was pssibly another sister named Jane.Jessies' father lived at 19 Edinburgh Rd. Edmonton until his death (50's?)She is named as JESSIE not JESSICA!!on the marriage certificate. |
