I am searching for information on
Martin & Mary "Annie" Riley.
Martin Riley was born in Ireland circa 1844.
Mary "Annie" Collins was born in England circa 1840.
They married [not sure where - England?].
KNOWN children:
William, born 1868
Mary, born c1870/72
Elisabeth "Lizzie", born c1873/75
They were Roman Catholic.
In late 1879 or early 1880, they traveled to the US to be part of Bishop John Ireland's ICCO: Irish Catholic Colonization Organization. The family most likely went first to St. Paul, Minnesota. They settled in Nobles County, Minnesota.
They are listed in the April 1880 census of Nobles county, Minnesota, USA.
Annie died in June 1880.
Martin died in Feb. 1884.
Looking for the names of Martin's and Annie's parents. Looking for information on what happened to the children after they were orphaned in 1884. Did the girls return to family in England?
