Looking for descendants of JOHN RAMSAY from KIRKCALDY.
John born Kirkcaldy 1828 (parents JAMES RAMSAY & AGNES MCINTOSH married
1) ELIZA BRODIE and had four daughters:
AGNES born 1849 married JAMES MCGREGOR (AGNES died in Kinghorn in 1939)
ISABELLA born 1851 married 1)THOMAS DONALDSON, 2)ALEXANDER FORD GUNN (ISABELLA died in Kirkcaldy 1915)
MARGARET born 1853 married WILLIAM NESS (MARGARET died in Kirkcaldy 1897)
JOHAN born 1856 married JAMES LEITCH (JOHAN died in Kirkcaldy 1931)
Eliza died 1858
2) John married ANN CAMPBELL 1858:
JAMES born 1859 married MARY MCGREGOR (AKA MARIA ALSTON (JAMES, my great grandfather died in Kirkcaldy 1945, Mary died in Clydebank in 1915)
MARY ANN James' twin born 1859 married JOHN RUSSELL (MARY ANN died in Kirkcaldy 1902)
JOHN MURRAY born 1861 died 1866
ELIZA BRODIE married WALTER DRYBURGH RUSSELL (brother of John Russell)(ELIZA died in Kirkcaldy 1904)

John died as the result of an accident in 1889.
John Ramsay had 45 grandchildren. Several of the families remained in Kirkcaldy. The McGregors spent many years in LEITH, the Leitchs in INVERKEITHING, some of the NESS family moved to DENNY near Stirling.
