Looking for the WEIRS OF SPRINGBURN. My grandfather ROBERT CRAIG WEIR born Glasgow 1888 married HARRIET HENRIETTA ROSS PATERSON there in 1911. Emigrated to Canada 1928. Children:
HUGH born Clydebank 1911 died Ottawa, Canada 1982
JOHN STEVENSON born Clydebank 1913 died Toronto, Canada 1975
ROBERT CRIAG born Clydebank 1919, living in Vancouver
MARY PATERSON born Clydebank 1922 died there 1925
HARRIET PATERSON born Clydebank 1926 married RODERICK MCDONALD RAMSAY, Toronto 1949, living in Scotland.
My grandfather's parents were JOHN WEIR (1863-1936) and SARAH ELIZABETH WEIR M/S AITKEN (1864-1940). He had two brothers and two sisters:

2)WALTER STEVENSON WEIR born 1893 married MARGARET RICHARDSON CURLEY 1922. WALTER died 1957. Son John Weir then living in Milton of Campsie.
3)DAVID AITKEN WEIR born 1896 married JULIA ANNIE ARMSTRONG 1919. David died 1964. Son John then living in Glasgow.
4)JANE STEVENSON WEIR born 1898 married ALBERT ELLIS DAVIES 1922. Son ALBERT GEORGE born 1924.
Daughter HARRIET WEIR 1932.JANE died in 1976. Albert was living in Birmingham at that time. |
