John McMillan and his wife Kate MacDonald were my great, great, great grandparents.They and their ten children emigrated to NS Canada from Scotland [ Glen Hurich ] in 1843.They sailed from Tobermory on the ship "Charles Humberston".
Their first two children were baptised in Kilmallie Parish [ Glen Scaddle ] the remaining seven children were baptised in Strontian, Ardnamurchan, Acharachle Parish [Glen Hurich]
I am wondering if there were siblings of Jhn McMillan who remained behind in Scotland or perhaps emigrated elsewhere. His parents were
Hugh McMillan and Sally McMillan. |
