I'm looking for any information on my ggrandfather William Bell Davidson who was 'from' Glasgow, Scotland. He was born Feb 1854 and immigrated to the US at an early age ... about 1870. He married my ggrandmother Mary Catherine Freed in 1889 in Ft. Smith, AR, and they moved to Indian Territory with their 2-year-old son Ben in 1893 to a small river town called Tamaha (now Oklahoma). Ben was born in Ratcliff, AR, in January 1891. William died in July 1906.
If you have a William Davidson that would fit this timeframe, please let me know. We believe he was probably married before since he would have been 35 when he married my ggrandmother. |
