Searching for birth father James Power, served in the British Army, during 1946 or 1947. I am his daughter born to Mabel nee Laing and James Power out of wedlock. My birth
name was Elizabeth "Bessie" Power. I was given up for adoption when I was about two weeks old. To the best of my knowledge, I was told that my father never knew of my birth. My birth mother married a British soilder, during 1947 or 1948 and returned to England with him. I am anxious to find my birth father, apparently he belonged to the signals corp. I was born at the Penang Maternity Hospital on the 13th of May 1947. I have four children of my own ranging in ages 32years to 27years old. I also have three grandchildren. I would like to find my roots.
