searching for birth mother Mable nee Laing. Known also as"Girlie" to family. I was born Elizabeth "Bessie" Power,
born to Mable Laing and James Power, (out of wedlock) at
Penang Maternity Hospital on the 13th of May 1947. I was told that my birth mother later married a British soilder and left Penang Malaya 1947-1948. I do not know her married name.
But I know that I have step-sisters and maybe a brother. I have a family of my own. Three daughters and one son, ages range from 32years to 27years of age. I am also a grandmother with three grandchildren. If anyone out there can help me find my mother, or any of my step sibblings please e-mail me. My mother was born in Penang Malaya, 1927 or there abouts. I am desperate to find my roots.
My mother gave me in the care of the Thexeira family of Penang Malaya. According to what I was told somewhere along
the line my birth mother is related to the Danker family of Penang.
