I submitted the following message twice-and your instructions were that I go back to the message board and click onto reload to ensure the message was entered. I tried to do that except I was not able to click on either the word refresh or reload-what do I do now? Have I misunderstood your directions? if not maybe you would load the message as I am getting frustrated! Thanks-the message was as follows
I am trying to trace anyone who was in the Good Shepherds Convent, Cork (st Finbars) between the years 1952-1965. I remember 3 Horgans, 3 Hogans, 6 Murphy's, Crissie Creedon, Noreen Hogan, Theda Hanley, Mary Coffey, Marie Hill (Blackie) Veronica O'Brien, Patricia Footlock, and many more too numerous to mention, some went on to become nuns, some married and many emigrated to varios parts of the universe. I visited the old place in 1998-It was standing empty, and as I sttod at the top of the Avenue I could hear our voices rising up from the playground from our games of Hurley! I remember the good, the sad, and the bad old days. If the convent has not yet been torn down I would like to organize a reunion is anybody up for that? please e-mail me if you were there or if you know anyone else who was there.
