| I am looking for any descendents of the Mackenzies of Sutherlandshire. I am a descendant of John Mackenzie, eldest son of James and Babara Mackenie (who married 2-3-1842 at Eddrachillis). Their childrens names as far as I can gather are John, Hugh, Robert, Mary, Janet, Alex, Catherine and Jemima in that order. They appear to have moved between Durness and Erradachillis, Sutherlandshire between 1851-1861, but I cant place their wherabouts after this, with the possiblity they moved to Ontario, Canada. John moved to New Zealand and married a Fanny Jones of Leicestershire, England. Any info would be much appreciated |
